Tampa 2 Security, Inc. was founded by Marvin A. Bell, also known as Coach Bell, a dedicated fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Inspired by the team’s legendary “Tampa 2” defensive scheme—created by Coach Tony Dungy and Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffin—Coach Bell saw a powerful parallel between great defense in football and reliable security coverage.

The “Tampa 2” defense was known for its ability to protect the entire field and ranked among the NFL’s top five defenses for ten consecutive seasons. Coach Bell believed that same level of comprehensive coverage should apply to protecting people and property.

In April 2016, he turned that vision into reality by launching Tampa 2 Security, Inc., a company built on the principles of strong coverage, discipline, and reliability.
